The blue rush

The last few days have been crazy, what with Chelsea displaying entertaining football of the highest degree in EPL as well as Champions league.

After the delectable 3-1 treat at Anfield, the following week saw fans enjoying a lot more of pure blue class. The game against Bolton was a step by step tutorial on how to make a game interesting. After leading 4-0 at 63 minutes, the blues allowed the guests to score three goals to script this season's most interesting match.

The game also saw 'The Drog' getting back to his scoring ways. His opportunistic brace doubled his season's tally to four goals…disappointing, yeah but then the big Champions league matches are yet to come and you always know the true blue forward can change a game with one flick, one turn and one shot.

Then came the second leg with the reds in the bridge and after the match, everyone's was left saying, "This is what a football match should be like".

After a 2-0 lead by Liverpool, just when the red fans had started hoping, Lampard and Co. reached inside their chests, pulled their hearts out and threw them all far away from the Champions league. The game ended 4-4, Chelsea reaching the semis with a mammoth aggregate 7-5. If you missed it, do watch the recording.

Let there be food on the table, stars in the sky and Chelsea with the cup. Amen.
